The local media is always there when a ship returns from deployment,

I made 2 deployments myself and was in Chas Nav Sta many times when ships and subs returned. In 4 years I NEVER saw a news crew or media on the pier. Never.

Well, that’s CHS. Happens all the time here in Hampton Roads, not the subs though. Local channels 3, 10, 13 and The Pilot.
