I think that it's one thing if you NEED to work - or - if you CHOOSE to work. But, to choose to work, just to fulfill some feminist fantasy, is ridiculous
Yeah we all know that they couldn't actually enjoy what they do or be helping others while working in their profession. Most stay-at-home moms I know are uneducated. Just saying...

Most stay-at-home moms I know are uneducated. Just saying... Seriously, why would a woman CHOOSE work over raising her own children? Some just can't handle it. Just saying....

Ooohhh...continuing to rationalize and hate on those who chose differently than you....why??? We all get to make the choices we believe to be best for our families.
But do check out my profile for a true story of what was in the mind of one young child whose parents were busy "helping others". Just be aware that children sometimes process the world in unexpected ways.

I'll mention that to Mrs WBill, who is more educated than I am, yet chooses to stay at home.
I think that you're protesting too loudly. That, and I made a comment earlier about crabs in a pot. Just sayin'.

I was with you all along until you said this:

With a wife as well educated as yours, I'm surprised you know any uneducated women.
I was fortunate in that I had the benefit of both worlds as I worked for myself and mostly from home, so my daughter had a stay at home mom who also worked. When I needed to attend a meeting I had half the staff of the entire legislature begging me to leave her with them. heck I even had clients who begged me to let them watch her while I was attending a meeting for them.
I enjoyed being with her, and now that she is a teenager and often gets on my last nerve, I'm very happy I was able to have it both ways when she was younger.
There is nothing wrong with either choice, IMO and I've got serious problems with anyone who seeks to tear down those who made different choices. Just sayin'............
