He just made another racist remark. Said people were after him because he’s associated with Obama and they’re both African-Americans. Really. It was in the Times. In their front-page story calling him a “lightning rod” for criticism, in the headline.
So when we and all these members of Congress call for him to step down we are nothing more than a force of nature attacking the poor vulnerable little African-American lightning rod, a hapless inanimate object. Neatly negates all the criticism.
I like that. A lot. Nice analogy.
