Congradulations, you’re part of the 6% of mormons that did not vote for Myth.

Last election, there were ample stories right here on FR about mormon churches (temples? don’t know the terminolgy) getting in trouble because they ran call centers for Myth right out of the basement. Big 501(c)(3) no-no.

You would never hear political discussions going on in a temple. The ward/stake buildings where weekly meetings are held is a more likely spot. My ward in San Diego made it strict policy to have no political discussions inside church buildings. The church is very sensitive about not getting involved in politics on church property as they are quite aware of how many folks have the long knives at the ready to shred them. The same isn't applied to the big black churches like First AME in the south or reverend Wright. They spew political messages with impugnity.
