The central socialist (and God-less) government not only needs to get out of the way of the celebration of our Savior's birth, but needs to clean out their desks and cushy offices and get the hell out of Dodge!
Politicians and their vast retinues need to leave as they're the one's responsible for our demise!
To defend Jesus Christ and Christendom is quite enough reason to begin the war against governments: federal and state!
(It is perfectly acceptable to wish muslims well during their various high holy days)
Is this satire??
The Mulsim war against the God of the Christians and Jews proceeds unabated under the Kenyan Tyrant.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
(Obligatory nativity scene follows)
The Republican controlled house too.
Note the Democrat Senate is still allowed to say Merry Christmas. Ironic !
Congress ought to cut off all funding for the Franking Commission.
take away the christmas vacation from anyone who wants to pull this crap....we’ll see things change really fast.
Frankly, the Franking Commission can go frank themselves.
But it’s okay for obama to wish all the muslims a happy ramadama ding dong.
How the hell do you enforce this sh*t??
‘Banned’? Actually, I think what they said was you can’t use taxpayer money to send ‘Merry Christmas’ cards; only Merry Jihad cards.
Tax payers should not have to foot the bill for politicians to send holiday greetings or Christmas cards to their supporters. The tax paying public pays for their own Christmas and holiday greeting and its about time the political hacks do the same.
I wonder how many millons of dollars we taxpayers could save if:
(1) there was NO Congressional “franking-privilege”? and
(2) there was NO Congressional Franking Commission?
I say fire this lazy conmmission and let each Congressman pay for his own stamps for his own mail — just as we citizens do.
Last time I checked, CHRISTmas was a national holiday. If I was in Congress, I would send a CHRISTmas greeting out and let them take me to court. It would be great theater, no?
Who is making these rules?
Oh fooey, if I were a Congressman I’d ignore that. In letters about other matters, I’d still wish constituents a blessed holiday of whatever legitimate kind in the appropriate terms. Probably Christmas and Chanukah, and the latter not as politically correct but because the Festival of Lights makes a cameo in the gospels and because its Jewish story uncannily presages the Christian one. If necessary I’d even do it on my own dime if the franking people got too snotty and snooty.
