The UPS guy in my area is great. He rings the bell or knocks and leaves the package by the front door. The FEDEX guy on the other hand always leaves the package leaning against the garage door. I expect some day to open the garage door and back over one his deliveries.

I have had the post office lose only a couple packages in the 12 years I have used them for ebay sales. I usually have about $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 in postal charges each year. Before everything went to hell that figure was between 4-5 thousand a year. These are packages mostly sent first class mail and priority mail - thats a massive amount of packages sent correctly by the USPO. Granted, they screw some things up royally but compared to post offices in other parts of the world we are lucky.

From my own experiences we have the best postal system in the world.

I do not use UPS or FEDEX - too expensive. Besides, a good deal of the UPS packages get to where they are going by way of the USPO. Why pay the additional cost.
