A leaked document has revealed that the asshattery of BMW drivers may be more than coincidence. Failing to use turn signals, cutting off other drivers, tailgating, flipping the bird and other affronts to road civility have become indelibly associated with the Bavarian Marque. Why? According to the document, it's all part of a totally illegal customer loyalty scheme.
This template document, issued to all BMW dealers (click the image below to expand), comes to us from an anonymous informant known only as "The Whistleblower." It clearly outlines a list of driving behaviors, recorded on the black boxes that have been standard on all new BMWs for several years now and translated into points.
Accumulated points can then be traded for the kind of fabulous prizes middle management Bimmer drivers most covet, such as anger management classes and male botox injections.

They don't move to the right because people are passing them over there, using no signal, and after tailgating. Passing on the right is one of the worst behaviors I see on the road, especially when there's a free lane on the left.
OK, you make me feel better. I do all of those EXACT things, including the dirt roads and I am signalling to the cows and pigs.
Not the only ones. So are big fancy car drivers; especially big fancy black cars. I think they think they own the road for some reason.
A couple months ago we had a gaggle of prairie chickens cross the road at a crossing light in a 50 mph zone.
It was the damnedest thing.
We all stopped for the light and here they all come on parade strutting across the road as if they understood it all.
The light turned green while they were still making the crossing, and EVERYONE sat and waited for them to cross that road.
Why do people move to the left lane and slow down when they get a cell phone call?
Why is the passenger never on the cell phone when two in a car?
Questions that will perturb humanity for the ages....
LoL!
Why do we drive on the right side of the lane, but when we walk in public the masses go the other way around, against the flow?
Its confusing.
Why are they walking toward us in the left lane?
You know the difference between a porcupine and a BMW don’t you?
A BMW has the pricks on the inside!
(and thats a really old joke, LOL)
Those jacked up trucks, for the most part, have fairly stiff springs. They’d bounce even worse than an ordinary passenger car. There are some, mostly imitation desert racers, that can take bumps like that without slowing, but those are few and far between.
Depends on where you drive, I guess. Like having a car capable of 150+ in city traffic...
Allow me to explain. LOL
We all drive on the right. So why is it that on foot or in stores, people drive on the left?
WTF is that?
Seems to me if we just use the same mindset on traffic control in the office or the store that it would result in less smacking into one another and less aggravation in general.
You can’t strap a buck to the hood so what good are they?
Baja 1000 vehicles have it going on.
Yeah its a kidney rattler and a back shaker.
Mine was Trans Am Red with black vinyl seats, 3 speed manual and it was one of the best cars I ever owned.
Blacked the windows, jacked it up, put on fat tires, a Thrush muffler and 200W stereo in it.
[a big fat hairy deal for the late 70s]
Among other things, I mud-bogged in it down at the river.
It went -anywhere-.
The odometer stopped working at 249,000+ miles and I drove it for 2 years after that.
Some kid bought it out of a local junkyard and was driving down WV I-81 about 2 weeks later.
For all I know, it’s still out there somewhere.
Made some great memories in that car.
[Hey lady! Where’s the rest of your car?”
LOL
Indeed
We kinda grew up the same way I think.
Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath and SS Chevelles, Deep Purple, Highway star.
I only owned the 8 track tapes, I could never afford the cars.
Took a 67 chevelle rag top for a hell ride once through a field.
I’m kinda an off road guy
Or those that ride the brake pedal!
I drove cross country several times at a good clip. BMW drivers saved me from a lot of speeding tickets. Get in front of the Beemer, drop your speed about 1 mile an hour, and the Beemer driver will shoot out and pass you. Let him get a few hundred yards ahead of you and follow him. He’ll get pulled over before you do! God bless beemer drivers!
