I love Sarah to death, but most of the country can’t stand her. She’ll only be viewed as another weak candidate in a weak field.

I know she will reinvigorate some Conservatives that are down on this lot of candidates, but the media attacks will be relentless. Sadly she wouldn’t stand a chance in the general
election if she were nominated.

It’s such a shame so many in this country detest her, she is a truly a good and decent woman.

Agreed. The media and the Lefties would beat the pulp out of her as they did while she was governor. A continual barrage of harrassing lawsuits, topped by brainless comedy routines, attacks on her family, lies about her family, etc., etc., etc. and Palin would be a whipping post. Too bad but the David Axelrods of the world are brutal.

Yeah, yeah, yeah...they said the same thing about Reagan...no chance.

And what did that get them??? TWO Conservative-driven Landslide elections.

I don’t believe that you “love her to death” (odd way to say it) or that “so many in this country detest her”. In fact, I think I’ll check your posting history!

I love Sarah to death, but most of the country can’t stand her.

How do you know? By the general impression created by the MSM and pop culture? Remember it's the same one that implies constantly that Obama is popular, the same one that had the vast majority of Americans convinced that Hillary was so popular in 2008 that she had the nominatio cinched, the same one that tells us no one is interested in the birth certificate question, that "regular" Americans lean to the left -- that impression is an illusion.

That powerful illusion has fooled limited government Americans, conservatives, and Republicans into thinking they're the minority. People say the MSM "elected" Obama, but that is wrong. VOTE FRAUD (and the rest of the cocktail of vote manipulation, vote manufacture, ginned votes, bribed votes, etc.) elected Obama, along with Franken and probably Pelosi and Barney Frank and Reid, etc. The MSM was only an accessory in that for decades, it has convinced a majority of Americans that they're a minority, and when they're "represented" by politicians they actually rejected, they're preconditioned to accept it instead of understanding that VOTE FRAUD is creating a situation where a decided radical minority has fraudulently seized power over a bamboozled majority.

I think there's a pretty good chance that Palin is more popular than it appears via the reflection we see of America in the MSM mirror. I am certain that Palin would become more popular as people hear her. She has "it."

Gingrich, on the other hand -- if he gets the nomination, I'll support him (barring unforseen events) but walk into it with my eyes WIDE OPEN: Newt is mercurial, he's limited government one day, progressive "Republican" the next. He's a crap shoot, but there's a decent chance he'll do right by limited government principle at least some of the time (unlike Romney, where it is 100 percent guaranteed he will betray that principle all the time).

But in America, I think it's safe to say Gingrich is not what anyone could call "popular," and he is certainly not more popular than Palin, neither among Republicans nor among Americans in general.

Gingrich has been demonized and vetted almost as much as Palin, and he's not evey remotely as charismatic or attractive as Palin. His chances of rising like a Phoenix from being demonized, is pretty slim, whereas Palin is equipped by nature and talent to overcome efforts to demonize her.

“...but most of the country can’t stand her.”

It’s not true. The media propaganda machine has said it so much and so loud “everyone” believes it, yet they don’t know many people that “can’t stand” her.

Think about it.
