Are Condi and Hillary about to join the 2012 race? Rivals tipped to run for VP

Michele Bachmann may be the only woman officially in the presidential 2012 race, but that may not be the case for long.
Speculation is mounting that one former and the current female secretaries of state- Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton- will inject some estrogen into the race, though in different positions.
Conservative columnist Joseph Curl wrote today that Mrs Rice could provide a much needed addition to the Republican race, strongly suggesting that she is the silver bullet for the vice presidential slot.
This comes amid reports that an anonymous group has arranged robocalls pushing Hillary Clinton as a spoiler democratic nominee.
Neither of these notions are new, as Ms Rice and Mrs Clinton are well liked on their respective sides of the aisle, but it certainly seems more realistic than ever due to their recent public moves.
Ms Rice served as President George W Bush's Secretary of State from 2005 until Mrs Clinton took over in 2009. Since her departure, she has been working as a professor at Stanford University and released a book, No Higher Honor, in late October.
In promoting her book, Ms Rice put herself back on the public's radar, gamefully appearing on talk shows and making her years of service fresh in the collectives minds....

No. She’s a globalist liberal.

I once respected Condi.
The more I hear about her true agendas, the less I like.

No way, she’s a RINO plus she brings nothing in terms of campaigning (no political interest or motivation, she’s a policy wonk). She’d offer some superficial ‘balance’ to the ticket but not the right kind.

So, if she is picked, it would be the end of whomever picked her then?
Maybe we should send a note to Mitt that Condi is available and waiting for his call, eh?

No Condoleezza Rice. Enough of this BS primary is enough. No Palin, no peace.

I like Miss Rice, as I do President Bush. Fine people, and they would have made excellent Democrats.
ButI'll pass on large Govermment loving politicians. It'll be hard for anyone to try to curtail the ever expending beast, but at least give me someone who will try.
Miss Rice should try to run against the unicorn riding Obama in the Democrat primary.

IIRC, Condoleezza Rice is pro-abortion, so she would make a wonderful running mate for Romney.
That is, if he manages to buy and win the nomination.

If it's one thing people don't want, it's members of George W.'s former administration...

Rice is part of the nation-building, Muslim-loving Bush Klan which helped put Obama in the White House in the FIRST place. I wold NEVER vote for HER or anyone in the LEAST tied to the Bush Klan.

Obozo will not dump Biden for Hillary. Besides, I believe she really does like her job as Secretary of State. Condi? Nah; we need either Marco Rubio or Allen West in the VP position.

If Hillary would somehow join the Obama ticket, I think it would be a disaster for us. She is so popular that she would get the five to ten percent that he needs to win. Yes we hate her here but did you see all those people who voted for her last primary. They STILL support her but want her to get to the White House eventually. If she gets on the ticket in 2012 that would line her up for the Presidency in 2016. I hope she does NOT accept the VP position.

She is popular with independents, moderates and Reagan Democrats. I suppose they feel she will bring back the 1990’s when the economy was doing well. I don’t know what else it could be.

I really don’t know either. But for some reason her approval rates are the highest in all government. Sure that is sad but since we are conservative Republicans, we will never understand the appeal.

She’s already said she is leaving the state department at the end of Mr. Obama’s first term.
