When John McCain admonished his supporter for using Obama's middle name, and when McCain affirmatively assured America that Obama was to be trusted and would make a fine president, I thought he was trying to be politically correct and trying to ward off charges of racism.

Now I understand that John McCain just doesn't get it. He has no idea the threat his passivity enabled to win the White House and he has no idea the truly pernicious threat this kind of legislation will put into the hands of a potential tyrant.

As goes McCain, so goes Lindsey Graham. And the problem is that McCain has so much credibility as a patriot that his fecklessness undermines those who can still think prudently.

I have been posting since before Obama's inauguration that the man is dangerous. Any head of state who fails to repudiate the cult of personality that grew up around Obama betrays a sociopathic personality which is profoundly dangerous. You are absolutely right, we could be in very serious trouble. A glance around the globe can tell you that we are vulnerable to a Black Swan event at any second providing a tyrant the pretext he needs to usurp our liberties and destroy our grand experiment.

I am in utter agreement about McCain and Graham, but I believe that these men are fully aware of where we are heading and what they have wrought. I believe they are in full concert with the concept of a totalitarian United States.

In my opinion, McCain knew exactly what he was doing.

McCain didn't care about the rock solid republican, conservative base. His comments that day were directed at those independent voters who were on the fence. McCain reassured them, in fact he consoled them, telling them it was really ok to pick the man your instincts told you was trouble.

He let them off the hook, used the trust, those who believe he is a hero granted him and delivered this country into the hands of Hussein. The election was over at that moment.
