I spend a good deal of my time on facebook where for whatever reason I have political friends that love to jab each other. And I consistently trash all GOP candidates not named Ron Paul. So much fun. Some church lady gets her feeling hurt sometimes but screw it, I am an angry red-meat eating freedom lover and don’t like her tards are the airport treating me like a criminal.

Now what’s funny is if Dr. Paul doesn’t win, some of these yahoos must think I’ll swing to Obama. No way.

My thought is Obama and the progressive big-gov. neocons are essentially no different as far as what I care about. Rhetorically they are, but at the end of the day, police-state, nanny-state, patriot act, torture, gitmo, TARP, endless wars etc. Oh they’ll piss and argue about Obamacare, or gay marriage, but for those who prefer liberty to BigGov, none of that crap matters.

In any case if Dr. Paul should lose, I will vote whomever the GOP candidate is. I won’t spend any time or money but just vote my pocketbook because I am well into the six figure income range, and I can’t see voting for tax lovers. I’ll just be prepared for constant reports about how scared we need to be about how some dorky used car salesman was plotting to blow up a Saudi Ambassador for Mother Iran. Oooohhhhhhh so scared.

If Paul wins they’ll trot out the same crap they did against Pat Buchanan. Doesn’t mean I’d vote Dem, I just hate the GOP a WHOLE lot less.

Yes, the nomination of Newt, Paul, or Romney all but guarantees a strong third party challenge. Or, at the very least a large chunk of conservatives will sit out the presidential part of the election. Right now I am just hoping that the quasi-conservatives can maintain control of the House, which is not a forgone conclusion like many believe.

The RNC will play “hardball” harder against one of its own straying off the plantation...than it ever will with the Democrats...anytime.

Ron Paul threatens the status quo more than any other candidate presently...and that’s the only reason he has a campaign at all.

The American People are sick and tired of “business-as-usual”...which basically is...let’s see what Capitol Hill can get away with doing to Flyover Country’s bank accounts-such as they are- this election cycle.

"How about video?"

I don't remember who I asked for proof, so if it was you, my only comment is: Is that it?

I watched the stupid video, and found no unequivocal statement by Congressman Paul whatsoever.

fail

"It’s fact, not opinion."

Interesting opinion.

BTW: If you think the "911 commission report" was worth anything, then you are part of the problem.

IMO, (that's opinion, son) the 9-11 "report" was not worth the paper it was printed on.

Does that mean I think it was an "inside job"? No.

Do I think Ron Paul thinks it was an "inside job"? No.

Do I think you have a difficult time seperating fact from opinion? Yes.

Ron Paul is anti-Israel and a case has been made that he is anti-semite.

JR, I fear for the survival of the republic.

The republican party is so confused that it doesn’t care anymore what injures the nation and what doesn’t.

And I had hoped it would become a conservative party.

They’re led by a gaggle of hand-wringing, weak-kneed, lily-livered sissies.

Paul is conservative as he wants to abolish the Federal Reserve & to get rid of the un-Constitutional income tax. There is nothing more conservative than getting big government off of the backs of the people & to allow them to keep their hard earned pay. None of the other candidates even come close to doing the conservative things Ron Paul wants to get done in Washington.

Not sure what you mean except that both individuals tend to be more principled [ Paul much more than Kucinich who sold out after getting a ride on Air Force One ] & advocate sticking to the Constitution.

And leave undone or abandoned overseas...

Dr. Paul is no longer a charming nut. He's a dangerous anti-American nut.

Sorry unless Paul changes the constitution, income tax is constructional. Paul has done nothing all the years he had been in congress. Paul is a phony conservative, he is a libertarian. Pay attention to what he has actually done not what you think he has done.

If Newt continues to fall in the polls and looks like he’s “going south”, I’m gonna start rooting for Rick Santorum.

I'm rooting for Santorum right now. He's a strong candidate and could potentially peak at just the right time. He's been gaining steadily in the polls--could be a surprise.

I’ve said for weeks that Rick Santorum could be the “surprise” coming out of Iowa in 2012. Problem is, Gov. Rick “Dufus” Perry is running hard in Iowa and has a lot of money. Bachmann is still liked by many. Those three will divide the true Conservative vote. Am I right or wrong? I’d love to see Rick Santorum pull off a surprise 1st, 2nd or 3rd Place finish.

Fred Thompson said tonight, on Hannity, speaking of Paul making a possible run as an Independent, that he has a lot of Democrat supporters. Do you know that to be true or not?

Not for sure, however it does make sense, Paul is not a conservative, so liberals would support him.
