Manning did a GREAT service to freedom in America. Yes, some toes got stepped on, but what we learned was worth the pain.
“Manning did a GREAT service to freedom in America. Yes, some toes got stepped on, but what we learned was worth the pain.”
OK sport, I’m game to consider your statement. Give me 5 specific examples of what we learned that is new news from the theft of intel by Manning.
Yea, everybody should release classified documents whenever they get an opportunity. Sarcasm off.
He’s not Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, but he did violate the government’s trust in him. (Albeit they shouldn’t have)
That has to be one of the most idiotic statements I have read on this site. Can you provide some details as to the “GREAT service to freedom” this little pole smoker provided?
Manning did a GREAT service to freedom in America. Yes, some toes got stepped on, but what we learned was worth the pain.Huh?
Peyton or Eli? Yes they are great.

Praise of evidently treasonous activities on this conservative site does not meet any minimal standard of rationality, absent some detailed and convincing explanation.
Unless you care to explain why releases of thousands of classified docs which caused enormous problems for our military and diplomats across numerous countries is a “service to freedom” thoughtful people will conclude that you are neither serious nor respectable in making such hit-and-run remarks.
It would not be any plausible argument merely to cite a few items of info that you think are good to have in the public arena. The beginnings of a plausible argument would need to justify the entirety of the release plus justify a principle that it’s permissible to violate all document classifications when you (the individual) think it might be good to do so.

Rump pirate Manning's "GREAT service" possibly has gotten or will get CIA agents in the field killed. Are you okay with that?
