We’ve been complaining for years on FR that liberal activist judges are destroying our liberty and here we finally have a candidate with the balls to take them head-on. Go, Newt!!

I wish Newt well with this issue. He’s still a scarily loose cannon. Damn those Democrats, trotting out those weird women to gun Cain down with their self delusions. (I believe Cain would have agreed with Newt on this one.)

His confidence increasing, Romney has stepped away from his aggressive attacks on Gingrich in recent days, instead shifting his focus back to Obama -- and working to humanize himself on the campaign trail. How in the he!! is Romney going to focus on 0bama when he governed the same way as him?
"I'm everything 0bama is, but vote for me because I am a Republican"?
Romney can not beat 0bama!

Right on Jim. Also the balls to take on the Alinsky in the oval office and call him out on it. GO NEWT!

Bachmann was on Meet the Press this morning and totally failed the judicial question.
It was hard to watch.

Go, Newt!!Newt knows the facts, the history and the Constitution and when he says that Lincoln told the Supreme Court to piss off over the Dred Scott decision {if you are snooping over here from DU, that's the one that said slavery is legal in all 57 states} he was correct and it shuts up the critics.
Who among the elite media will back the Dred Scott decision?

Imagine a President who can do something - WOULD do something - about activist judges besides waiting on one of the Supremes to retire. I mean really, IMAGINE IT.
Now we don’t have to. We know who that candidate might be. (and 3 months ago, I couldn’t imagine supporting him - but I do now).

A cannon is great. One that shoots in unpredictable directions isn’t so great.

It is true, that given the faux liberal and the genuine one, usually the vote will go to the bona fide liberal.

Hoping that when socialism surrenders, Newt won’t then promptly invite it to tea and crumpets.
