At least 10 doctors not previously disciplined by the state signed sick notes for Madison School District employees that the district considered fraudulent, according to a State Journal analysis of the notes submitted amid Capitol protests earlier this year.
The newspaper also found that about 570 district employees submitted sick notes for at least one of the four days in February when teacher absences forced a school shutdown. The number presents, for the first time, a clearer picture of how many Madison employees sought an excused absence.
The documents - obtained by the newspaper Friday as part of a settlement with the district in an open-records lawsuit - show that school employees sought excused absences for everything from the illness of a child and surgery to laryngitis and stress "from current governmental activities."
More than 300 employees submitted sick notes for Feb. 16, the first day a protest closed schools, according to the analysis. That's far more than the typical 100 absences for a day in February. For each of the other three days, between 217 and 289 employees sought excused absences.

Some animals are more equal than others.
Lies and fake documents. Its a DemocRAT thing.
What makes me laugh is that these people believed so little in their cause that they got sick notes a) To not loose pay b) so that they didn’t suffer any back lash for taking the day off. That’s why these idiots will never really take over America - they aren’t willing to suffer any consequences for their revolution.

What a joke FMLA is. I have a friend (non-union) who couldn't get FMLA approved for severe depression/migraines that nearly killed her, but at our workplace union members get FMLA approved for acid reflux, and they miss 3-4 weeks every year because of it; usually on Fridays where they go to treat their acid reflux with large quantities of beer at a local bar.
when I first moved into my current house 23 years ago, I was sick and needed to see a doctor. I found one in the area (there was also a ford parts plant nearby) when the doctor came into see me, he had a pad of paper in his hand, and the first words that came out of his mouth were, “ How many days off do you want?”... when I told him I was really sick, he put the pad down and was kinda in disbelief, but he did examine me and prescribe some pills....
that always helps my acid reflux :)
Wisconsin “free sick days” ping!
