You're a riot rintense.
BTW in the primary most Texans and their money supported Rudy over McCain.
This is an interesting article about where Texas' campaign money and support was going in '08. Things just aren't back and white. Texas donors on fence for 2008 election
You do know what happened to the Rudy contingent on FR, right? But bless your heart for trying to make both Bachmann and Newt the bad guys.
In my book (unwritten as of yet, of course), there was no way to separate Rudy and McLame. Rudy gets in the race early, sucks up the lion’s share of money and support, then decides not to campaign, basically leaving McStain the winner (or in our case, the loser). Huckabee and Thompson were only bit players. Odd, that at that time Romney almost looked good, when compared to what we got stuck (shafted) with.
For some reason, we’re being sucked in to these discussions again that really are not discussions at all. Cainiacs did it to us all the time. Vicious attacks on Perry. The usual LaRaza Rick, Amigo Ricardo, or whatever. No one could ever explain why Perry was not the choice of Hispanics if he was, in fact, giving away the store to Mexicans. My city loathes him. We are almost 90% Hispanic. Why don’t they line up to vote for him?
There is no question, no contest, that Perry is the best candidate. I admire him. I’m grateful he was a Boy Scout. I’m glad he is an Aggie. I’m proud of his military service. I like his family and their devotion to God and country. There is nothing they can throw at the fan that will change my mind because we live Rick Perry in Texas. I like it.
