I just can’t tell. I think it means payroll taxes/unemployment/medicare reimbursement also come up for another vote in February.

Remember the 2010 lame-duck session extensions, last spring’s vote, last summer’s vote - all just temporary extensions of everything made under the threat of government shutdown made by Reid and Obama? I think this is just another 2 month extension of all of it.

I don’t think a yearly budget has been agreed to since 2008.

“”I don’t think a yearly budget has been agreed to since 2008.””

That’s right - we’ve gone without a budget for FY 2010, FY 2011 and FY 2012... The FY 2009 would have been done before the 2008 election so there hasn’t been one passed since obozo took office? It just doesn’t seem possible, does it? Right there everyone is in violation of their oaths to uphold the constitution.

I did catch some later news today and now it’s more clear that everything is on hold/extended for 2 months. I guess it was after the Senate voted that the reporting made more sense. To say that anything makes sense coming out of DC is really stretching it tho’.
