"The unemployment insurance extension is not only good for individuals. It has a macroeconomic impact. As macroeconomic advisers have stated, it would make a difference of 600,000 jobs to our economy," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said at a briefing on Capitol Hill.

I’m sure she can find a bunch of economists to back her up. Some BS about the jobs created or saved by folks continuing to spend their unemployment and a “multiplier effect.”
Some economists live so far out in lala land it is truly hard to imagine.

Hey, San Fran Nan Pelosi is just testing the boundary limits for Obama so the President does not become the first Democrat politician in history to overestimate the stupidity of the majority of the American people.
