Wonder if he didn’t know the 10000$ remark was really stupid until someone reminded him the people he was trying to get to vote for him mostly didn’t have 10k in net assets to bet with.

Just for the record...Romney’s $10K betting comment is a common southeast Michigan comment. Everyone always says “I bet you 10,000 bucks” whenever they want to project that they know what they are talking about. I thought it was cute and I say it all the time and have done so since I was a kid. Ask any Michigander. So, let’s quit trying to make it into something it isn’t.

I'm no Romney supporter, but I think to attack him for the 10 thou bet was silly.
He didn't mean it literally. It was a figure of speech..like ‘I'll betcha a thousand dollars..’
