Anyone who does not NOW know why Palin decided not to run? Obviously she was told in no uncertain terms that if she did she would get the Newt treatment, that Romney is the Establishment choice, that they would rather lose than suffer anyone except their choice to be President. Never mind that he is Dewey—Bush 41-Dole—McCain all over again.

And the establishment is p!ssed that conservatives aren't buying Romney.
Just a few minutes ago, I just heard Steve Hayes (interviewed by Bill Hemmer on Fox) deliver a blistering attack on Newt. And then went on to say that Romney did well last night.
I usually like Hayes, but his attack on Newt was downright venomous. The GOP establishment is going to try to bring Newt down...just to help Romney.
Go Newt!

Yup.

Pretty much. Romney is simultaneously a caricature of everything the Left demagogues Republicans as being, AND simultaneously an insecure, defensive projection of everything moderate apologetic Republicans desperately try to proclaim they're not. I've never seen a more hollow, amorphous individual than Mitt Romney. It's beyond pathetic.
