I guess I am wondering why it is so unreasonable to think that the Iranians could have expert computer programmers?

This stuff is not like developing composite carbon fiber coatings for a stealth bomber. It’s not like they need to manufacture something.

You need a computer and training.

While the programming is complicated, they DO have rocket scientists.

I guess I'm wondering why you directed that at me? I didn't say anything of the sort.

In fact, I suggested that this was not a magical in-flight avionics extravaganza, but perhaps an inside (iranian, chinese, or russky) spy loading a virus/backdoor/control.

I'm very much suggesting that the enemy may have taken over control of these at the top of the food chain, not at the final radio link.
