I think there are Christians that do all kinds of bizarre things for all kinds of bizarre reasons. A Christian can call himself a Muslim for a lot of reasons (deception, gainsay, etc.) But a Muslim to call himself a Christian and Jesus as Lord is a whole different animal. You get your head handed to you literally when you do that.

It occurs to me this may be one reason why it might be so. Muslims are ostracized and killed for such confessions. As far as I know, a Muslim doesn't confess Jesus as Lord unless he has actually been converted. In fact, the Bible says no one can call Jesus Lord but by the Holy Spirit.

Now you and I disagree, Christians would NOT call themselves Muslims If they are a child of God. Never. They would be renouncing the very thing Jesus is.

nope, BUT a Muslim says he doesn’t owe the Christian infidels the truth and can and will “act” a christian to advance their agenda. They will tell the truth about their Muslim faith to other Muslims.

I don’t recall Obama ever confessing Jesus as Lord. His belief that there are multiple ways to the Father (shared by Mr. Wright), is blatantly antichrist. The narrow road IS Jesus, so there is no other way.

But you seem like a generous believer who emphasizes God’s grace. I think that is commendable!
