Rove was instrumental in defeating O’Donnell.

O’Donnell. The Republican in that race.

Handing the Senate to Democrats.

Did you forget already? And why in the world are you schmoozing with Rove the scumbag?

Explain that for readers.

And Rove was (nearly) as nasty toward Palin. I have no idea why Rove is known as a Republican, all I’ve ever seen him do is screw things up for the GOP.

As I remember it, the accusations of the tea party having lost the Senate, by choosing candidates that were too far out of the mainstream, came first, by the RINOs, and then the countercharges that Rove lost us the Senate by tearing down the tea party candidates.

It doesn’t really matter which accusation came first. We should just take a lesson from it and not do the same thing again. Whatever that means . . . Maybe sensing the flow a bit better and not letting ego or commentator-itis get in the way.

I don’t like Rove...but she didn’t need his help to lose that race. She was doomed from the start. A cute face and girlish demeanor doesn’t a senator make.
