US units exiting Iraq deployed in Jordan to forestall Syrian attack

As the US completes its final withdrawal from Iraq, American special forces troops have been diverted to positions in Jordan opposite a Syrian tank concentration building up across the kingdom’s northern border, DEBKAfile’s military and intelligence sources report.

As of last Thursday, as of last Thursday Dec. 8, military convoys, air transports and helicopters have been lifting US troops across the border from Iraq. They have been deployed in position to ward off a possible Syrian invasion in the light of President Bashar Assad’s warning that he would set the entire Middle East on fire if the pressure on his regime to step down persisted.

Syria’s other neighbors have taken precautions against this contingency

The incoming US contingents are disclosed by our sources as having been housed at the King Hussein Air Base of al-Mafraq, 10 kilometers from the Syrian border. US troops were sighted Monday, Dec. 12, building surveillance towers and army posts in the Jordanian villages of Albaej, Zubaydiah and al-Nahdah al-Houshah as well as near the Sarham dam of the Yarmoukh River which runs down the international border between Syria and Jordan.

Three months ago, the Syrian ruler cautioned Jordan’s King Abdullah II to stop granting asylum to Syrian military deserters and allowing his country to serve as a conduit for pumping arms to the opposition.

U.S. military being ordered to help some more arab spring.

Certain muslim forces have embedded themselves within American government and leadership so deeply that America is now a tool of islamists.

Other muslim forces, I guess, are on the outside looking in.

I think Syria is too busy with their own internal mess to go looking for a fight with Jordan (who would promptly stomp Syria)

It’s too far from the election for a wag-the-dog scenario!

Is the United States some type of a middle east police force paid for by US citizens treasure and lives? Do any of the millions of Arabs living there do anything at all for themselves ? Egypt, Jordan, Saudis, the new “free Iraq” Its time for them to pick it up. We are broke. To many US citizens with limbs missing, and they kicked us out of Iraq.

I knew it had to be a DEBKA story from the headline.

If we are actually doing this, I hope we are sending tanks in there, too.

This is only one act of the bigger play going on in the spiritual world, IMHO. I just hate it that our own troops may become entangled in it.

In a war between Syria and Jordan, I’d lay money on some quiet help from Israel. With the loss of Egypt, Jordan is about the only “friend” Israel has in their own neighborhood.

Had me going until I saw the source. Has DEBKA ever got anything right? I’m still wondering what happened to those 100,000 Chinese troops that were supposed to be in Afghanistan back in 2001.

I’m guessing that equipment is moving out of Iraq by way of Jordan or we’re selling old equipment to them.

I suppose its possible we’re parking some equipment there to make the Syrians nervous.

If true, maybe in lieu of payment we could get Jordan to take the Palestinians back.

Special Forces in a blocking position against armor formations? I hope this is just poor reporting.

Guys, guys, there is indeed something to see here. This story was first published by James Corbett of the Corbett Report. http://youtu.be/-v1h1bUfCVc

He has been a very credible source.

Debka published their report numerous hours AFTER, and this really solidified the authenticity of it. Personally I’ve found Debka to be a good source of information. In fact they seem to be so close to the truth sometimes that a defamation campaign against that website has been in effect for quite some time. Are you sure you want to be one of the gullible sheeple who just simply “goes with the flow” and replies with “Debka?” Or do you want to do your own homework/research and find out if what you’re reading is true or not? Use your own discernment and don’t foolishly take the advice of others or try to fit in with the bashing of Debka simply because it’s the easy or popular thing to do.

Anyways, I find this report even more credible, because some time before it was posted on Boiling Frogs blog/Corbett Report, one of the largest battles yet between the Syrian army and defectors took place in a city (forget the name) close to the Jordan border. Is this a coincidence, or was this the result of the supposed international special forces who’ve just arrived in Jordan, who because of their intelligence/supplies/capability, were able to substantially help out the defectors? Furthermore it was reported that Assad had armed his missiles with chemical weapons. Was this because he was aware of their presence?

Damascus is prophesied to be a ruinous heap. Nuclear war is about to transpire. This is not all a coincidence. Biblical events are about to take place.

Let’s therefore use logic, common sense and clear thinking so we can truly connect the dots and rightly conclude that we’re on the brink of something truly profound and unprecedented. Do your OWN homework and find out for YOURSELF if what’s being reported is true.
