With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound He pulls the spitting high-tension wires down
Helpless people on subway trains Scream, bug-eyed, as he looks in on them
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town
Oh, no, they say he's got to go
Go go Newtzilla
Oh, no, there goes Tokyo
Go go Newtzilla
So what's it going to be? Romney-the-Robot's democrat light nibbling around the edges (and stabbing you Will Robinson's in the back while your not looking)?
Or Newtzilla?
Oh and for the younger generation that's a little Blue Oyster Cult above. You should play the song (Godzilla) while you read the article for more flavor.

I dislike both Newtzilla and Romney the Robot, but either one beats IDAK. His “Crush, Kill, Destroy” policy on our economy must be stopped.

Also, Gingrich benefits enormously by being the last obvious "not-Romney" candidate. The beltway bunch still doesn't get the resentment hangover from last Republican presidential nomination. More to the point, Gingrich benefits enormously by being the last obvious 'not McRomney' candidate.
More to the point, a whole lotta' folks were & still are pissed off over McCain being the candidate in '08 and see Romney as more of the same-o, same-o. That and Romney's 'likeablity' factor is in the basement.

“... But many feel that a Gingrich victory might be scarier than a GOP defeat...such fear is a compliment because it shows that he’s a “change agent” threatening the status quo.”
And that, my friends, is why the establishments of both political parties are in major meltdown mode. Gingrich has said he will overturn the way business is done in Washington, D.C.
He knows where all the skeletons are hidden.
He knows where all the bodies are buried.
He is as relentless as a terrier on the scent of a pest to be annihilated.
Of course the establishment is crapping their pants.

“Gingrich has said he will overturn the way business is done in Washington, D.C.”
But, but - - Newt is a ‘Greenie”.
What might convince the Conservative voter that Newt won’t grow government, won’t grow EPA and similar agencies?

The pundits and insiders are in a snit and not just over Gingrich, as Goldberg points out. They think Perry and Bachmann aren’t smart enough and can’t beat obama. Their Romney isn’t cutting it, so now they want to stop Newt Gingrich....LOL.
Oh dear, and these are the same SNOTTY BELTWAY INSIDERS who worried that Sarah Palin would run and they did everything to stop her, so that she wouldn’t derail their boy Romney.
GO GINGRICH!

I said I thought there was a significant chance that Gingrich will not only win the nomination but that he might be the next president.
McCain: "Conservatives will be saddled another candidate just like us."

“This helps explain why Newtzilla is so formidable. In order to stop him, you need to explain to very anxious GOP voters that the times don’t require him”
Good sum-up.

He wants to replace the EPA entirely with one that considers economic impact factors. Look at his budget proposals and tax plan - it's not revenue neutral and deliberately so. Keep in mind, these are all things CONGRESS must pass.
Are you paying the least bit attention to his solicitation of ideas for regulation and EO repeals, etc. for the new Contract with America?
