I don't know and couldn't care less about the "Breibart/Beck beef." But is this true that Beck pulled the race card on the Tea Party? Crap.

I opined here once before, long ago, that the problem with Beck is that he occasionally gives free rein to his inner asshole. Looks like he might have done it again.

I really not sure why I should care what either of these two says.

Beck earns his living as a pundit and entertainer.

If everything he said just repeated or echoed what others said or what people already thought, he’d be unnecessary and it would affect his earnings. So he’s got to be controversial and “out there” - but in balance. And that’s the problem: Beck has been getting less and less balanced, and many who used to find him entertaining have been driven away by his crazy talk, like this.

Just remember, Beck has one vote like everyone else. We were each born with a brain of our own, why rely on Beck or anyone else to form your opinions?

For me, he and most of his ilk have always been unnecessary and irrelevant.

You know, while you’re sitting there watching him talk about the food shortage stuff, he doesn’t tell you this ties to the Mormon Church.

Not does he reveal that he owes his entire career to the LDS. And Glenn is bashing Newt on behalf of the LDS for Romney, to support the Mormon "White Horse Prophecy". Glenn knows if he goes against the LDS that made him, they will take it all away. The same national radio deal Beck got the day after he was "baptized" as a Mormon would disappear.

Beck thinks he is the “White Horse Mormon Prophet” who will save the republic.

Brietbart should tell people to stop listening to stupid Beck and tune into Flapp Jackson in the Morning this Morning. He never tells anyone to stock up on supplies and has no connection to anything LDS.

It seems to me that this is about a lot of things, but this doesn't appear to be one of those mentioned. Why do you think this is the real issue?

However, what is even more interesting to me is watching how dramatically things change on FR. A year or so back I made an offhand comment that I found Beck a bit creepy and overwrought in all his drama. I was attacked as if I had just said Obama was the Second Coming. And now this thread comes along and it appears that I am no longer alone. The winds of Freeper change do come swiftly, don't they?

Beck is making a good point. There is a method to his madness. The question is how did we get to this place where it is a choice between a Gerald Ford and a Nixon like candidate? There is no reason to shoot the messenger. Also the anti-Paul stuff is a little much. I don’t care for his foreign policy but then again has what we’ve been doing been working so well? When did the Tea Party become the defender of the status quo? I disagree with Savage that Romney is better than Gingrich and I disagree with Beck that Newt is the same as Romney. My primary worry with Newt is penchant for self destruction and sticking his head down ‘rabbit holes’.

Newt could surprise but he still strikes me as a Nixon-like candidate. Right now I’m hoping Bachmann will get some traction but till then I’m pleased to see someone crushing Romney. Once he is gone we can start worrying about how to get rid of Newt. :-) Alot can change, Newt’s advantage now is that he has been attacked and attacked and attacked. Even the left is struggling because its like beating a dead horse come back to life and about to eat your brains. lol

Right now I’m in wait and see mode but I’m counting my blessings. My expectations of Romney’s demise are following along perfectly on schedule. Didn’t think it would be Newt who would undo him and still my intuition still says he won’t be the one.

I respect Beck for his reeducating us on the Founding of America, his expose’ of Soros, of Cloward & Piven and his unmasking of Zero’s czars, etc. When Beck first began his online TV gig I had friends and relatives tell me I ought to sign on for the free trial, etc,. But I just never felt strongly enough about it to do it. When I heard him on the radio this morning make that assinine outrageous statement that he’d vote for Ron Paul rather than Newt I really had to wonder....how can anyone THAT full of crap NOT have BROWN EYES?!

This guy is a huckster. He’s always been a huckster. It was only a few years ago that he was a shock jock, that he was a morning zoo guy. And he’s been taking people’s content for years and not crediting it.”

Pot meet Kettle. There are no bigger hucksters than Breitbart and Beck.

When Beck went after Van Jones, I found videos of Jones calling Republicans "a**holes", as well as other damning clips, and posted them, getting tens of thousands of hits, and also found 9/11 "truther" clips on him, which helped lead to his resignation. Breitbart took all the videos, downloaded them, and reposted them himself. Amazingly he actually screwed up on one of them and forgot to remove my logo at the end. I contacted them, and never got a response. Breitbart is a dick.

I helped Beck TREMENDOUSLY during the 'will-he-be-fired-any-day-now?' period at FoxNews, even launching a website - DefendGlenn - to defend him against the boycott. Beck and his people knew all about it. I did several radio interviews about it as well. But not ONCE did they ever email or call me to thank me or respond to a single one of my emails. They had they jerkoff Democrat publicist Mathhew Hilzik send me a thank you email. Beck is a dick.

"He alleged that Gingrich was so similar to President Obama in his “progressive” ways, that the only reason Tea Partiers would like him over the President would be because of his race."

I'm voting for whoever the GOP nominee is over Obama and race has nothing to do with it! I also was for Cain before he left the race and again race had nothing to do with it.
