Why should we let the left define the language we use. Liberals are reactionaries, not progressives. Conservatives are the real progressives. We want the United States to progress by adopting conservative principles.

Um, no. That's not what progressives mean by progressivism. Progressivism fundimentally is utopianism at its core and developed from the idea of Social Darwinism -- that man would evolve into a more civilized being through social pressures. Progressives took it a step further: Why wait? Why not force "progress"? The end of this is, obviously, concentration camps and gas chambers.
Exactly. As long as we have all these banjo hitters who don't know how to focus on achievements versus liberal-dictated terms of discourse, we will always have a faction that is willing to hurt America just so they can be "right" about "Newt."
They are recognizable by their reliance on sound bites like "newt's baggage" or "newt's no conservative" or "newt's corrupt" or "he's a progressive" with no facts and no context to indicate they have any idea what they are talking about.
