Those semis / 18 wheeelers have over-sized bumpers called “cow-catchers”. the truck drivers have mandated schedules , and don’t take too kindly to delays , or interrruptions.

If someone was to lay down in front of one of those trucks , there is a good chance the trucker wont see them.

If someone stood up as a truck approached, they will be ‘mounted’ on the cow-catcher bumper if the trucker cant stop in time .

Hard to see what is directly in front of you when sitting in the driver’s seat of an eighteen wheeler. Oops, sorry. Didn’t see you. Let’s seee...hmmmmmm....180 pound man/woman versus 60,000 pound truck.....hmmmmm....grease spot on pavement. Life is good.
