Iraq, for all of Hussien’s craziness, was not an Islamic state.

Lots of reasons to get rid of the guy...but his fatwas (if there were many) were a joke to get the fundamentalists to support him against us.

Saddam created fatwa’s to kill us I do not consider that to be a joke. Islam is a belief to destroy non-Muslims. If he believed in Islam or not it doesn't matter he used Islam.

When Islam is used it is pitting Islam against all the rest. I do not know how that makes him secular.
