Perry hitting below the belt,IMHO. Indirectly hitting Newt with infidelity charges. All he accomplished is giving ammo to the other side.
He's not giving the other side anything; it's part of who Newt is and it's public knowledge. It will be discussed now and later, should Gingrich get the nomination.
While that's true I just hate giving the enemy sound bites with our candidates voices to use against us. Maybe its inevitable but I still don't like it.

Any moment taken from any of these dozen or so 'debates' could be used as a sound bite. So if that's the reason they should not discuss any and every topic we could just as well extend that same logic and say they should not debate at all.
