not being a consistant conservative to endorse arlen spector in PA...which is why Santorum lost his senate seat.

[Rational Thought]

Santorum was supporting the party in his endorsement of Specter. Kind of tough to run against the senior Senator from your own party in your own state.

Much like Palin supported McCain, I don't really think that's a credible criticism, and I'm certain given the dynamics of the 2006 elections and the son of a king (in Pa.) being his opponent were the reasons for Santorum’s defeat.
