No matter what Madonna does, it still won’t be as gay as “Twilight”.

Same here!!! I used to watch sports and lived in Cincinnati during the “Big Red Machine” era and met a lot of them...but strikes...big money...non mentors to the kids have turned me off....haven’t watched football, baseball in years...and to be honest...I haven’t missed it!

Is this the year when pass receivers start wearing external airbag uniforms that inflate when they are tackled?

I stopped watching the SB after the Janet Jackson incident.

Won’t be back.

Per Wikipedia:

During most of the Super Bowl’s first decade, the halftime show featured a college marching band.

The show’s second decade featured a more varied show, with Up with People producing and starring in four of the performances.

The middle of the third decade saw the introduction of popular music acts such as New Kids on the Block, Gloria Estefan, Michael Jackson, Prince, Clint Black, Patti LaBelle, and Tony Bennett.

Starting with Super Bowl XXXII, commercial sponsors presented the half-time show;

within five years, the tradition of having a theme—begun with Super Bowl III—ended, replaced by major music productions by arena rock bands and other high-profile acts.

In each of the years since the 2004 halftime show controversy, many of the halftime shows have consisted of a performance by one artist or group.

I saw maybe the first 5 Superbowls. Got tired of the NFL players.

The puppy bowl is fun. My husband discovered it, and now we watch it every year at halftime. :)

Not the topic. Nobody asked. But, am I the only one who thought the Rolling Stones halftime show was the best one ever? People made fun of them because they looked old. So? They were out of control! I loved it.

So they can Hank Williams Jr, for comparing Obama to Hitler, but they allow Madonna, who had a video that showed John McCain in a montage with Hitler, Mugabe and other bad guys, and then showed Obama in a montage with Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, and other “good” guys.

I love the SB, even when I don’t have a dog in the fight, but I have yet to watch one minute of any half-time show, except by accident.

Half-Time Show Theme, 2011:

“Lesbian Nazi hookers abducted by UFOs and forced into weight-loss programs”

I use the Superbowl halftime to do important things like, fix 2nd half eats and drinks, go to the bathroom, check my email, etc. so I guess this will be another halftime show I won't be able to watch. Darn, and Madonna is such an important icon of today's society and culture.

Only in America could ‘TrashDonna’ with limited talents but self-promoted sexploitations thrive and make multiple million$ doing it. American modern culture is in the ‘Toilet Bowl’ instead.
