>> Big government Newt aint worth electing unless we want to lose to Obama. Didnt we just learn from McCain? >>
That statement is so ignorant as to border on the assinine - something Cain would probably agree with.
Newt was the last Speaker to balance a budget. He was the last speaker to pass welfare shrinkage. He was the first minority leader in 40 years to successfully engineer a take over of congress. McCain would never try, let alone succeed, at any of that.
To compare those two is witheringly ignorant. And Cain would agree.

One, the budget was NEVER balanced. Debt went up year after year.
Not by his own decisions either, you say it like the Speaker is the dictator of the House. Boner can say the same, because there hasn’t been an Obama budget passed under his watch but then you’d not want Boner in charge. We the people sent the Republicans to the House to clean up the mess. We got Clinton redux, and the terrible economy over the last 10 years as a result of decisions.
Newt could have stopped so many bad things that did happen that continue to screw us over, but they either flew under the radar or he reached around the aisle.

Boner did the same. We should make Boner president.

You’re right. McCain was fond of reaching around the aisle. McCain was 100 percent prolife, stayed married to his wife, served in the army, was a war hero, survived captivity in Vietnam, etc.
Newt screwed around on two wives, stayed home.

Absolutely. Newt just doesn’t have it. Newt vs McCain is very much in McCain’s favor.
