So it’s like abortion. Politicians can SAY they are personally against it but never lift a damned finger to stop the slaughter.
What exactly do you think the President should do to stop the slaughter?
Chain himself to an abortion clinic door and try to block anyone from entering? That's something that any of us can do, we don't have to be elected to office.
Bear in mind that back before Roe, abortion was illegal by state law. It was not illegal because the President was opposed to it.
I am glad that I live in a country which is still at least partially a constitutional republic. We are not yet ruled entirely by Presidential decree. And regardless of the President's opinion about prostitution and drugs, his Constitutional authority does not extend to cover state law in those areas.
