From my skimming summaries, the book is written for "16 and up" and is written from a sister's perspective on her brother wishing to become a girl called Luna.

The mother is a workaholic on anti-depressants who conspires to hide the secrete from the father who thinks the son may be homosexual.

Sounds charming. /s

These kids are not being taught fractions or simple equations. Yet there is time to celebrate perversion, deviancy, and unnatural sexual behavior. We need to abolish state schools and start from scratch.
