Senators 'Disappointed' by Omission of Radical Islam From Homegrown Terror Document
Published December 09, 2011 | FoxNews.com

Two prominent senators chided the Obama administration for releasing a strategic plan on homegrown terror that doesn't mention radical Islam and likens domestic extremism to "gang violence" and "sexual offenses."

The 24-page plan, released Thursday, follows a Defense Department letter in October that classified the Fort Hood massacre as "workplace violence."

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, criticized that classification at a hearing earlier this week, and along with Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., issued the statement Thursday questioning why the Obama administration omitted Islam from its latest document.

Omission of Radical Islam

Maybe the regular Islam will be enough.

The plan also ignores the potential impact of another 5 years of Obama in the Whitehouse.

This is all part of the ridiculous political correctness that will ultimately get more innocent people killed. Notice how the Fort Hood dirtbag is virtually unheard of anymore and is simply referred to as anything but a terrorist.

Their purpose is to redefine terrorism to mean anything they say it means, which allows the government to bypass constitutional safeguards. We have become a true police state, and they did it right in front of everybody.

If Homeland inSecurity can not accurately name the enemy, then we need to get rid of the operation.

They have become a danger to Americans and our freedom because they look at all citizens as potential terrorists and they have become an occupying enemy force against the country.

We need not fear Islam at all.

That TEA Party bears watching, though.

Mitt Romney: Jihadism Is Not Part of Islam
With Obama’s big speech to the Muslim world in the offing, I asked Mitt Romney in an interview yesterday about a major speech on national security that he gave on Monday at the Heritage Foundation (see above video). In it, Romney referred to Islam only insofar as he referred to “jihadism,” a term he used four times in the address, and to “mullahs” and “ayatollahs.”

I asked Romney how he’d respond to Muslim complaints that his speech characterized Islam in entirely sinister terms. His response surprised me:

I didn’t refer to Islam at all, or to any other religion for that matter. I spoke about three major threats America faces on a long term basis. Jihadism is one of them, and that is not Islam. If you want my views on Islam, it’s quite straightforward. Islam is one of the world’s great religions and the great majority of people in Islam want peace for themselves and peace with their maker. They want to raise families and have a bright future.

There is, however, a movement in the world known as jihadism. They call themselves jihadists and I use the same term. And this jihadist movement is intent on causing the collapse of moderate Muslim states and the assassination of moderate Muslim leaders. It is also intent on causing collapse of other nations in the world. It’s by no means a branch of Islam. It is instead an entirely different entity. In no way do I suggest it is a part of Islam.

This from a man who wants desperately to be president!

Democrats don’t give a flip about radical Muslims. They’re after ‘lone wolf’ conservatives. Ones they can use to brand all conservatives as ‘nuts’.

“We have become a true police state, and they did it right in front of everybody.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

It has been going on for decades but never so boldly before. Only four years or so ago I was flamed by Freepers for saying this is NOT a free country. My tag line for a long time was, “Does anyone still believe this is a free country?” I don’t think there are many left who want to argue that we are still free. We now have a government that studiously avoids addressing the real enemy and instead attacks those who have long been the backbone of America. Putting military veterans on a list of potential terrorists and strip searching old ladies in wheelchairs while looking away from the real enemies of America, many of whom are installed at the highest levels of government. Those who are reckless enough to point to the truth are ridiculed by clowns of every description. The GOP is bad enough but the “Democratic” party should change its name to, “The Nazi Insane Clown Posse.”

Evil deception by an evil regime and an evil media.

Evil kills. Not using the word "evil" because it is too strong and "out there": also kills.

Stop the killing. Be honest. Use the word EVIL to describe evil.

Romney is politically correct all the way. He’s centrally concerned about what the elitists - his peers - think of him rather than concerned about pursuing the truth.

This is the mentality of pc group think that led to the World Trade Center bombing, the Fort Hood shooting and that will lead to another major terror attack on the US.

I detest the term "political correctness" vs lie-speak the same way I hate the term "gay" vs homosexual. It's all designed to make the People blind to the truth so we can be turned into livestock status and only exist at and for the pleasure of the government.

The War on Terrorism is a farce.

The terrorists won, we lost.

WE have had to compromise OUR freedoms, and, in the process, provided statist megalomaniacs like Obama and Janet Napolitano with an opportunity to even further erode our rights.

At the same time, Muslims, the people who generate terrorism in the first place, are granted “protected class status’, instead of being removed from our presence.

It’s way beyond political correctness.

It’s identifying with and promoting Islamic jihad. Obastard said he’s side with the muzzies and he wasn’t lying when he wrote that.
