Three bulbs in one month?

Outrageous.

Mine used to last about 6-8 months, depending on the season, and it was kept on a lot.

(In a condo now so no more porch light)

On one side of the porch is a bulb I put in when I installed the fixture about 3 years ago and I haven’t changed it since. On the other side I put a bulb in and its been fine till recently and now I’m changing it all the time.

I changed to the flourescent bulbs by the front door. Heavy door, not-too-solid wall and three kids slamming the door really rattled things. The wire element in the regular bulbs would rattle and break.

The flouresescent bulbs last a long time, and good for leaving on all night. Not so great when they were in the flood lights as when I turned those on it takes a while for them to warm up to full brightness. And those are the ones I turn on to see what the noise was! I suppose this ban applies to them as well (150 watts I think I have up there now).
