Newt Gingrich, the senior Republican statesman and conservative dynamo slams the media, slams ObamaCare, slams Obama. Says all Republican presidential candidates are committed as a team to defeat Obama, repeal ObamaCare!!
Worth watching again when doubters try to convince you that Newt is for the personal mandate.

Excerpt.
5. Balance the federal budget by freeing job-creators to grow the economy, reforming entitlements, and implementing productivity improvement systems, such as Lean Six Sigma, to eliminate waste and fraud. Pass a balanced budget amendment to keep it balanced.
Getting to a balanced budget is absolutely vital. When there is a permanent budget deficit there is no reason for any politician to say no to any interest group. That is, in fact, how we ended up with the current, absurdly bloated, undisciplined federal government. If deficits do not matter and spending is open-ended, the most rational strategy for every bureaucracy is simply to ask for more money.
How then did Newt receive 100% rating from the ACU?
Did your candidate receive a higher rating? 217%? 389%?
Btw, Timber Rattler is Virginia Ridgerunner. He has 2 names.

I’m very certain that your exhortation is directed lasar-like towards the the usurper in the Oval Office today, eh?
Good stuff- he’s hitting his stride right about now...
Go Noot!!!
Well, no, because Obama is not the subject of this thread or this discussion.
But, yes, like Gingrich and every other politician holding himself out as a leader, Obama should be evaluated by his deeds, not his words.
Funny: it was Obama’s thrilling (to Democrats) words that got him elected. Sound familiar?
Gingrich has good deeds and some mixed baggage.
Your trying to make it seem like the man only has words is stranger than strange.
I disagree. Obama was not vetted last time around and McCain was afraid to take him on. Our candidate needs to be a fighter to take on what obama, a billion dollars and his re-election team in the media are going to throw his way. Let’s face it, the field is narrowing down and it is what it is. I like Perry myself because he’s strong on the second amendment and he will tap into our resources. but if he doesn’t gain traction, I’m going with Newt
That would suit me perfectly. I'm exhausted by conservatives on the hill who don't stand up and fight or give as good as they get. It's all about taking the high road, being the better person, setting an example. Reminds me of ignorant parents in the store kneeling eye-level with little Johnny to discuss all the reasons why Johnny's choice of cereal is not the choice he should make because blah-blah-blah. Be an adult! Don't discuss Johnny's cereal choice. Tell Johnny what he's going to eat and why and be done with the nonsense.
Superb- everybody who votes needs to see this

Good stuff here, thx!

And you should have pinged him.
Believe me, I hear ya, FRiend.
But I think we have to brace ourselves for the fact that Newt’s words are not going to be enough.
The campaign is one thing. Then he has to govern.
If he ticks off conservatives as he is wont to do, all his words in the campaign won’t help him be an effective CONSERVATIVE President.
Feels pretty good to be trollbait insured these days I must say....its a new feeling for me...
No bolt ponies nipping at my heels for seeing Newt was where it was headed after fair lady flared off
