Sandy, the Longshoremen are a part of this, and dance to the tune of national labor leaders.

I do suspect, though, there are many ILWU members who privately are very reluctant to be a part of this. They know that support from locals, whose businesses and/or jobs will be impacted, would diminish. The local ILWU members in Seattle-Tacoma and other NW ports do not want to implement Obama’s plans for screwing everyone via Cloward-Piven methods to “collapse the system”.

THe ILWU has been led by communists since the 1930’s (Harry Bridges, Martin Hall, Archie Brown, Jim Herman, etc). It is interesting that you say that the most radical unions “Seattle” and possibly Vancouver, do not want to implement Obama’s plans.

Where do you get this potentially important information about the ILWU locals? Oakland and San Francisco apparently are just run by the heirs to their CPUSA predecessors.
