If it was done for political purposes and resulted in murder, then the responsible individuals, if found guilty, should be hanged.
This will, most likely, go all the way to the top. When some are convicted or impeached, others will turn on the guilty to save their own necks. Trials should be held after the election so pardons from Washington won’t happen.
