Kartographer posts regularly on preparedness topics and I think he even has a pinglist.
As for me I saw the writing on the wall in ‘08 and started getting my sh!t together. Realignment of priorities, elimination of debt and frivolous money vampires, reassessment of my tools and equipment, all in an effort to move towards “going Galt”.
Should the unthinkable happen it won’t look much different than any other day. I’ll keep my head down, keep my options open, and my powder dry.
Stay my ass in Texas, and begin networking with like-minded patriots like never before.

For those who will want to blame Republicans for choosing a losing nominee, I will remind them the candidates we get are the candidates we have to pick from. Fault starts there but ultimate blame is at the feet of the voters. After decades in CA, I no longer hold the average voter in high esteem.
I would hope if we get a Republican, we get the Republican we need no matter what we may think at this point in time.

I considered moving back to the US in spring of 2008, after having been here in the Czech Republic for seven years....my instinct told me to stay here instead.
