Yes, that’s the reality.

Newt v Romney for the nomination, and then whichever one wins support in the General.

Of the two I prefer Newt over Romney, sadly the class of 2012 is a truly pathetic offering by the R’s.

I’m just going to vote for who I want, in the primary. Then I’ll vote for who I have to, in the election.

I agree, and it's going to hurt the down-ticket races as well. I have doubts at this point about whether the GOP can regain the Senate.

Now you just have to convince all the other candidates to drop out of the race.

There is a real possibility that Newt will crash soon and someone else will emerge to take his place.
