I can’t help but wonder- why are you people here, on this thread? Who are you supporting, Obama? Romeny? Paul? Palin? Anybody? Why aren’t you on THEIR threads? I don’t give a damn about going on their threads and smearing them. Get over it, get a life, Newt is the next President.

AMEN, my friend!

I suggested (though it fell on HYPOCRTICAL, Freepers' deaf ears) way back when so many were "dumping" on Cain (by posting EVERY LITTLE news story critical of him) that in "Fairness" if one was going to attack Cain then they should "man-up" and inform the rest of us "WHO(m)" they were supporting.

I repeat my challenge again for those who are less than enamored with Newt.

I'm NOT a Newt fan and haven't decided yet (I was for Palin, then Bachman, then Perry, then Cain) BUT, it is UNFAIR for those who support someone else to continue to attack Newt while hiding their "TRUE AGENDA!"

So, tell us the truth--FULL DISCLOSURE: Are you a Romney-bott or a Paul-inista???

>He will say anything to get elected.

That would be Bachmann.

One important error in this article, identifiable as such if you watch a video of the speech. Newt said “if HE will accept it I will nominate John Bolton . . . “. He did NOT say “if YOU will accept it,” YOU being the Republican Jewish Coalition. There are already plenty of nutballs running around pretending that the Jooos run the world. We need supply them with no more, made-up, ammunition.

I think you confused the word “elected” with “noticed”.

Following Ron Paul is not the answer, either.

"Voting for Newt just got a little less painful for me."

My thought too...and like you, I figure he would then nominate Colin Powell for secretary of defense.

Hard Right/Red Meat for the BASE in the Primaries.

Nomination locked up? Pivot Hard Center for the General.

Govern from the Center/Left (reach across the aisle constantly for the big bipartisan “reach around”). Conservatives/Tea Partiers will be called “cretins”. Maybe slow down some stuff here and there and throw more red meat on occasion but essentially reverse little to nothing on the Big Conveyor Belt to Government Largesse and Socialism.

Four to eight years of “compassionate conservatism.”

You’d think we’d catch on to the game by now.

Newt would be the second most conservative GOP nominee since Goldwater.

Fox and Friends presented that more as Gingrich having someone ask him if he’d name John Bolton, and Gingrich agreed that would be a good selection.

I’m wondering now which is the correct version.

I am assuming Newt plans on a recess appointment, as the usual RINO suspects in the Senate will never vote to confirm him.

The same was true before WWII. The paleo-pseudo-cons were against opposing Germany. Turns out that then, like now, there is more than a little anti-Semitism at work. Compare Henry Ford’s Jew-hatred with Ron Paul’s... It would be easy to see Ron Paul in WWII as a Nazi sympathizer.

I tire of explaining basic—and very recent—historical facts to dimwits.

We did not start a foreign war, we had one brought on us when Al Qaida delivered a kiloton of combat power into an office complex on a Tuesday morning. Please don’t bother with the silly boilerplate about how we supposedly provoked them; one does not decide to bathe secretaries and stockbrokers because of a disagreement over foreign policy doctrine.

We did not squander trillions, we made AQ a shadow of its former self.

We did not go into debt because of these wars; the Obama stimulus spent in two years approximately the same amount we spent in Iraq and Afghanistan in a decade. The amount spent in those countries is a tiny fraction of what we spend on broken entitlement programs that could be easily reformed and federal agencies that should not exist.

And lastly, it’s a hoot to see you saying that voters will run from Bolton to vote for Obama, who brought them 15 trillion in debt (6 trillion more than what he said was “unpatriotic” in ‘08), terrible relations with Russia and Europe and an undeclared, don’t-even-run-it-by-Congress war in Libya that’s probably going to put that country in the Muslim Brotherhood’s hands.
