I'm pretty sure "technology is taking our jobs" is Liberal code for "someone figured out they don't need as many union workers".

You don't have to go as far back as horse-and-buggy days to see this sort of thing. People went absolutely ape crap over the invention of push buttons on elevators (eliminating the need for an elevator operator) and direct dialing of telephones (eliminating the need for telephone operators).

I worked in the lumber industry for over 35 years and it went through many changes, all of them for the better, and where some jobs were removed there were always new ones created. The industry thrived until the greenies ran it out of business, or nearly so, with the frickin' spotted owl lie. All judges who went along with that crap should be in jail. Talk about killing jobs.

The truth, that the Bozobots don't see, is that regulations are what are killing the jobs, not technology. Bozo knows this but he also knows he needs to lie his a** off in order to keep his base in line.
