I am sorry. I could choose words better.
There are two reasons to choose Newt:
1) He is a better debater (whether that matters or not seems irrelevant these days)
2) He is a progressive conservative
It can’t possibly be that he is a good standard bearer and a strong advocate for conservative principles.
So, I get (am getting) agitated. Especially when FReepers pass him off as our next messiah.
I don’t see anyone here calling Newt a messiah. We just want the most conservative who can BEAT BHO - and that would NOT be Romney!
