Interesting article. From the website the Root, an African-American group, you'll notice that blacks in general do NOT support the gay agenda at all. They find it insulting to make homosexuality "equal" to civil rights, plus they are steeped in the Biblical injunctions against homosexuality.
BTW, This quote made me laugh: "He mentions Langston Hughes and Alec Baldwin as great African American figures who lead mostly closeted lives." I think they meant James Baldwin. Unless there's a prominent black "Alec Baldwin" that I've never heard of.
