They’ve been reporting a lot about young people coming back home after college, like it’s a “failure to launch” scenario. I look at it as, hard times mean more multiple generations under one roof families. I think it’s a good thing - good times means everybody wants their own crib etc.
My nephew told me last night about a friend of his who has quit his own apartment to return to the family farm. This young man has a good job and makes a decent living but decided that with everything happening in this nation, he feels more secure at his parents.
Particularly as he has an automatic rifle on a stand bolted to an upstairs room’s floor. He said it was to facilitate homestead’s defense when the SHTF!
I agree...our family has had several conversations about such things if things keep heating up. Might even have to begin getting them into play in the near future if things don’t turn around.
