However, there were those on here (anti-Newties) proclaiming “where there’s smoke there’s fire.” If there’s one thing about Newt’s dirty laundry background that benefits him, it’s the extent to which he was investigated by the Congress. Little new to be exposed.
Ditto the way the media went after him when he engineered the ‘94 takeover. He’s grown a thick skin. They can get as snarky and vicious as they want, it’ll be as water off a duck’s back.

She doesn’t have to say anything publicly. She can leak any lie she wants to the press and they will run with it. That way she can attack as a “confidential source” without any retaliation.
