I just finished reading the book “The Godfather”and there was a reference in there about a Hollywood mogul having his way with a child star....

I thought it was odd that that scene never made to the movie....

Guess I know now.....it was based on the truth....

I remember that. The girl's own mother brought her to him, and later led her out, stumbling and dazed. I thought "Yep. I bet that's pretty close to the truth."
