Mitt Romney may be dropping behind Newt Gingrich in the latest polls in Iowa (and seeing his lead narrow in New Hampshire), but hes bagging a few endorsements from California Congresmen.
Republican Reps Jerry Lewis, R-Redlands, Ken Calvert, R-Corona and Brian Bilbray, R-Carlsbad, announced their Mitt-devotion Tuesday, as Romney makes a West Coast fundraising swing that stops in Burlingame Wednesday. Although Mitt has promised media avails almost every day, as we noted, almost is apparently the eighth day of the week in California. That continues Mitts Whitmanian avoidance of media whose employers name doesnt rhyme with cox.
The trio of CA reps said Romney would be the best to stop illegal immigration (slap at Gingrich) and a steady and reliable commander in chief with private sector experience (slap at Guv Rick Perry).

I know Brian Bilbray. Big deal. NOT.
I thought Quayle used to be a conservative?
Hannity was having guests in full tilt for the hologram today.
Moot point to me. I will crawl over broken glass to vote against Mitt Romney in any election.
Romney is a wolf (a Canadian wolf, not one of our Timber wolves) in sheep’s clothing! Beware!
He was. Another Stockholm Syndrome victim.
That may be, or it may not be...
Whatever the case, it's better to have a Newt in there, beholden to a large base of voters that keep him on his toes against amnesty, and against the 'rat machine agenda to create their own private voting block.
As opposed to a Mitt "myth", stating a stand on illegal imm, and not beholden to a base of voters that would hold him to it.
lol .. I’m just killing time until Blago’s sentence is announced 8-]
I rate him more along the lines of a liver fluke, but yeah.
What’s the delay? Almost 4:00PM in Chicago!
On second thought, Romney might be in Bilbray’s district.
sigh.. he may get probation and community service, who knows.. lol
Even against Obama? What are you going to do — stay home and give us another 4 years of the Obamanation?
Romney has gotten over 50 Reps/Sens endorsements, with support from all the Washington beltway-types. Genrich has gotten a half-dozen endorsements, mostly from GA, etc. Shows who the establishment wants...and who we don’t want.
He’s due for some prison time, but it’s Chicago.
Who we don’t want?
I don’t want another 4 years of Obama. The only declared candidate that I would hesitate to support on the Republican side is Ron Paul. He’s just too squirrely, and I know him personally.
“Even against Obama? What are you going to do stay home and give us another 4 years of the Obamanation?”
I will not vote for either of these frankly vile persons.
Neither one. If Romney is the GOP suit, I hope Trump’s threat to run as an independent becomes a promise, and I will vote for him. Almost anyone. Mark Levin’s empty orange juice can. But I will not kneel to a slightly less vile candidate of a slightly less toxic political party.
American culture existed before the Washington government, and American culture will endure after its demise or dissolution.
stil waiting ..
The Judge may still kick Blago to the pen for a few ,, maybe 5-10 .. if the drift of this piece comes to be..
Rod Blagojevich no pawn, judge says at Chicago sentencing hearing
Rod Blagojevich was clearly the ringleader of the shakedown schemes to sell or trade Barack Obama’s vacant seat, and not a pawn of his advisers as argued by the former Illinois Governor’s lawyers, a federal judge said Tuesday.
U.S. District Court Judge James Zagel said at Blagojevich’s sentencing hearing in Chicago that he believed there was ample evidence Blagojevich wanted $1.5 million in campaign contributions for the Senate seat, The Associated Press reported. Zagel’s comments “could signal a harsher sentence for Blagojevich,” it added.
