Much of the rest of the story, e.g. reindeer, climbing down chimneys, a large bag full of gifts, etc. derives directly from Sa'ami culture in the Sapma', a large area stretching from Norway, through Sweden and Finland into Russia, where people strive against the elements and the Midnight Sun to eke out a living.
I take the crucifixion of Santa Claus to be the sort of "hate crime" and threat against those of Sa'ami ancestry that should put the perpetrators into prison for a very long time ~ or at least the hospital.
My favorite progenitor of nearly the same Sa'ami culture was a Finn named Simo Häyhä who served as a sniper during the Russian invasion of Finland in the Winter War of 1939/40.
He killed at least 500 and maybe as many as 900 Russian troops ~ SINGLEHANDEDLY.
The people crucifying Santa had best watch out because that's what could happen if they don't get right with God and get out of town.

Awesome Idea, I wanna see the libs wirthe after realizing this.
